Starlite Building Services is a construction services operation that serves clients throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, New York City, and Los Angeles.

Our team is made up of hundreds of talented and dedicated craft workers providing valuable assistance with project scope, budgeting, scheduling, site logistics, and materials.

We are seeking a Division Manager will work in concert with the Director of Regional Operations and the Vice President to ensure quality, execution, and growth, development of new talent, internal and external relationships and profitability for division P&L.

This role is responsible for overall management of project set up, estimating, project execution, financial management, people development and relationship management.

Responsibilities
Identify new opportunities, existing jobs, and new scopes within opportunities to grow.

Develop Division strategy within Trade Disciplines to grow profitable business through evaluating self-perform capabilities verses sub-contracting work Clearly identifies areas of risk and profitability to focus project team decision making.

Prepares budgets for all phases and provide thorough reconciliation for client and internal review.

Works with Construction Operations in schedule development and goal setting.

Executes each project phase including pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction services.

Looks for opportunities to increase company profitability on each project both with self-perform operation and general carpentry and labor services.

Achieves financial control and profit goals for each project.

Monthly divisional P&L reviews with Regional Leadership and Vice President.

Drives the growth and development of staff always looking to improve and enhance team.

Qualifications
10+ years of experience in construction management with a commercial general contracting company or commercial subcontractor.

Bachelor’s degree in construction related field or equivalent experience.

Detailed knowledge of all trades: scope, time frames/field execution, typical missed scope/exposures.

Extensive experience maintaining project budgets and schedules.

Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of estimating processes and delivery methods.

Knowledge of contract types and deal structures.
