We welcome and encourage everyone who has a passion and curiosity forinnovation, technology, and play to explore our open positions and join our growing globalteam.The PlayStation brand falls under Sony Interactive Entertainment, a wholly-owned subsidiary ofSony Corporation.Senior Product Manager, MediaLos Angeles, San Diego OR San Francisco,CAResponsibilities:Help lead the product research, design, and execution of ourmedia experiences.Balance product management skills with business insights andvision, ensuring that our players get into the experience as fast as possible (gameplay ormedia)Collaborate, evaluate and complete features that reach millionsof players worldwide.Analyze industry trends and competition to contribute towardsproduct strategy for PlayStation Media ExperiencePartner with Program Management as they coordinatecommunications, track timelines, and resolve blockers and risks.Support User Experience in the design of newfunctionalityPartner with Business Analysts to define business logic andrequirementsPartner with Product Owners and Engineering leads to preparestories for deliveryTeam up with Global Legal Teams to help build acustomer-centric, and optimized experience wherever in the world customers access itfrom.Engage with engineering teams to clearly convey requirementsand provide insight into business rationale/benefits, including presenting at large planningevents & to senior managementEnsure features are backed by important metrics, and thatsuccess is measured on an ongoing basis.Work with engineering counterparts to architect and develop keysystem infrastructure including APIs, data models, and integrationsManage a backlog of epics and features, as well as drivingprioritization in alignment with an identified short term monetization plan.Continually learn and develop in order to be a subject matterexpert with respect to the competition and technology around digital retail and conversionoptimizationBe responsible for the backlog of initiatives and features anddrive prioritization.What we are looking for:BA/BS Degree or equivalent preferred5+ years experience as a Product Manager or similar role with apassion for media.Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as wellas the ability to present ideas to large audiences.Be self-motivated and results oriented.The ability to think creatively while collaborating on newproducts, solutions, and features.Streaming media experience and a passion for TV, movies, liveevents and entertainmentThe ability to travel domestic and international when safelyable to do soExperience:Proven track record working with partners, vendors and projectteam members to further the business goals of our products and servicesExperience working in an agile/scrum developmentenvironmentExcellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills – You willbe interacting with all types of people (user experience designers, engineers, managers,vendors, partners, etc.)Experience working on both display and video dynamicadvertising solutionsExperience with experimentation and variousmethodologies#LI-PS1Equal Opportunity Statement:Sony is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
