Job Description About Bus.com We’re disrupting a $17B private bus industry (in North America alone) that is where the taxi industry was before ride-share. We are doing this by shifting business online and allowing event organizers to move large groups to their destinations with ease. We are the reference in people transportation, including for professional sports teams, major tech companies, international music festivals, and everyone in between. In the last 2 years, we have successfully expanded our offering to offer our virtual fleet of vehicles, technology and marketing know-how to governmental entities (transit authorities, airports, etc.). Sr. Operations Manager Role Description As a Senior Operations Manager, your role will be to localize our business to each of our core service offerings in Los Angeles. In this fast-paced role, you will be in charge of the operations to support our local core customer and establish Bus.com within a short period of time. This role involves managing different tasks, such as supporting recruitment,, partner & operation management, and more. This is a full-time role with on-call responsibilities for an individual with the skills and determination to make things happen. What you will achieve: Consistently deliver NPS >50 Be relentless of how to improve the customer journey (riders) Be an amazing cooperative partner to our clients Ensure 24/7 successful delivery of service Be accountable for a fantastic rider journey Develop, launch and verify compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Disaster Recovery documentation Help set up a strong and passionate local team Structure local partnerships, identify key events and support the go-to marketing plan Develop and deliver reporting to internal and external partners Support dispatch for field technicians as needed Assist with the creation of a playbook for a successful launch to implement in each new market. Be the representative and voice for the Bus.com brand in LA. Who you are: Comfortable taking on a high degree of accountability Curious and passionate about urban mobility, social impact, protecting our environment, and new technologies that change lives. Talented at accomplishing a lot in a short period and is extremely well organized. You should have a gutsy, gritty attitude, be confident working with limited resources and under tight deadlines, and not be afraid of working in the field with your team. Natural communicator who has a strong track record of leading initiatives within organizations. People would move mountains for you.
