Our team currently has an opportunity for a Senior Talent Acquisition Manager based in Sylmar or Temecula, CA. Sr TA Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strategic relationships with BHR partners and Business leaders, leading TA initiatives, managing a team of recruiting professionals at various levels while personally delivering on operational recruitment activity.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead and manage a diverse team of full life cycle Recruiters across multiple locations supporting all business functions across Abbott’s CRM and Vascular Businesses.
- Build strong, credible relationships with senior leaders and hiring managers as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert.
- Deploy innovative sourcing and candidate engagement tactics to attract top talent, including leveraging our technologies, social media and other recruiting resources to identify qualified candidates.
- Create and deliver an extraordinary candidate experience.
- Directly recruit on leadership roles.
- Create and implements processes and practices within the division based on global strategic direction.
- Ensures compliant hiring practices, including leveraging best practices within Abbott’s Applicant Tracking System.
- Leads regional and global projects to drive future TA initiatives.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Required
- Bachelors degree required
- 8+ years of demonstrated success in managing high volume/high pace recruitment projects
- Proven success in a global matrixed organization
Preferred
- Experience of direct recruitment (In-house/external search partner), brand marketing and channel management, diversity, operations and compliance across multiple functions in a complex organization
- 1 year experience Recruiting for roles in Medical Device, or similar complex technologies/industries.
- Managed a team of recruiters across multiple functions.
- Demonstrated the ability to handle multiple priorities and programs and drive organizational changes. Anticipates and solves problems effectively.
- Strong technical aptitude, data analysis and storytelling skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience proactively setting strategies, driving change and building functional and competitive capabilities in alignment with changing business, technology and marketplace/workplace trends
