Sr Manager, Talent

We’re looking for a Sr Manager to join XX Artists’ rapidly growing Social Media Services team. As a Senior Manager on the Talent Team, you will be an integral part of a team dedicated to a book of current and new clients. You will own daily social media strategies, planning, and execution for globally recognized talent ranging from musicians to CEOs to actors. You will report directly to the Sr Director, Talent.We’re looking for someone who is equally passionate about the entertainment industry and as they are about staying informed on the ever-evolving digital marketing and trends landscape. You must understand the importance of social media and create impactful social-first initiatives for each of your clients. You must have experience working in the entertainment industry, maintaining/growing digital audiences, inferring key learnings and strategy pivots based on account analytics, and possess a strong knack for conducting trend research and engaging with online communities. Creativity and out-of-the-box thinking are of utmost importance. Proactivity and the ability to manage your time are a necessity in this role.Strong communication, copywriting and project management skills are required. Professional experience in the intersection of social media and talent is a must. You must be detail-oriented, self-sufficient, and strategic. You must be passionate about your role with the drive to deliver superior customer service at all times. What We’re Looking ForExperience working in Talent social media with a proven track record and successful campaigns, ideation through execution.Experience in the entertainment industry and ability to manage clients with the utmost professional manner and attentiveness. Industry network connections and someone to assist in business development.Passion for analytics and using learnings to inform overall client strategies. Develop robust social calendars across proactive, reactive, and evergreen formats.Diligence and attention to detail across all tasks; no task is too big or too small.Expert understanding of functions, features, and uses of social media platforms.An individual who possesses unique social-first creative thinking, leading creative design and tactics that are aligned with client brand and voice playbooks.Possess excellent writing skills to produce editorial output which reflects brand objectives and current cultural trends.Ability to summarize insights to create actionable recommendations for client campaigns and ongoing engagement tactics.Professional communication internally with the team and externally with key stakeholders and pletes tasks in a timely and high-level manner.Proficient in Google tools including GMail and Google services (Docs, Sheets, etc.)A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, creative, and social environment.Personable, and fun personality with a passion for building lasting relationships with clients.What You’ll Be DoingManage day-to-day communications with client teams externallyCommunicate with internal teams to project manage asset creation, content ideation, and knowledge sharingConceptualize, drive and deploy social marketing campaigns for clients independently and as a teamManage live/active social media calendars and engagement opportunities documents in partnership with Social Media Sr Director and dedicated client partnersDaily community management with a focus on identifying engagement opportunities for global brands and key stakeholders Managing social media content workflows (content and copy development, approvals, etc.) with internal team members (designer, editor, etc.) as well as with client partnersLiaise with top-level clients in a professional and effective mannerIdentifying problematic and/or crisis content for escalation Leading a small teamBecome an expert with digital talent, their communities, and seek out optimal engagement opportunitiesUtilize knowledge of the overall talent and social landscape, trending topics, and leverage the latest social media best practices in order to provide ongoing thought leadershipNecessary ExperienceMinimum of 5+ years social media work and entertainment industry experience working directly with high profile talentDigital marketing agency experienceDeploying successful campaigns from social-first creative ideation and strategy, to execution and wrap-up reporting. Understanding of online communities and how to create effective social listening channelsDeep understanding of social platforms, best practices, and optimization strategiesProven ability to manage multiple clients in a fast-paced environmentProficient in Gmail and Google tools (Docs, Sheets, etc.)Self-starter and strong, professional communicatorMust have a valid passportPreferred ExperienceSuccessful management of a support team consisting of 2-3 team membersDeveloping Short Form Video content creation Ability to spot and adapt social trendsSupport the Business Development pipelinePrior Management, Publicity, or Talent Agency experienceAbility to ideate, strategize, and deploy unique social-first creativeExperience working independently as well as in team environmentsAbout XX Artistsxx Artists is a boutique social marketing agency located in Playa Vista, CA.
