We’re looking for a Sr.

Manager of Product Science to join Snap Inc!

As a member of the Product Science team, you will be adjusting the roadmap for Snap products by defining, prioritizing, building, and delivering user insights and features to drive product strategy.

You will hire a team of product managers, data scientists, and engineers to build the Product Science team.

Working from our Los Angeles headquarters, you’ll collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, Product Managers and Product Design teams to define the product strategy and direction for the Snapchat application and define new standards for growth.

What you’ll do:

Define growth strategy for key Snap products

Lead a cross functional team of Product Designers, Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Engineers

Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define and collect data for performance and engagement analysis

Communicate insights, product data analysis, and potential outcomes for the growth of Snap products with executive leadership, product, and engineering partners

Provide insights and scalable solutions for boosting performance and engagement of various Snapchat products

Develop feature delivery plan based on customers’ and internal teams’ requests and short term and long term product goals

Support and encourage data-driven product decisions on business and engineering teams

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Ability to produce action plans and product strategy from incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs

Ability to partner with and get buy-in from key stakeholders including executives and C-Suite

Minimum Qualifications:

8+ years of executive management or senior product leadership at a technology company, digital entertainment company, or a venture capital firm

Experience defining core strategic goals for a consumer technology or digital entertainment company

Experience building and managing a team

Experience partnering with product, engineering, and R&D teams

Preferred Qualifications:

10+ years in a senior management role at a consumer technology company

Advanced degree in statistics, analytics, mathematics, computer science, or related technical field

Experience in quantitative analysis or data science

Experience leading a data science or monetization team at a social media, mobile technology, or digital entertainment company

Experience launching large-scale consumer-facing products

Experience with product design or product management

Experience building creative communities
