As part of our continous growth, we are seeking an experienced and energetic Sr Market Development Manager to lead the development of marketing strategies, tools, tactics and execution across qPCR research and clinical instrument business.Nature and ScopeThe successful candidate will take the lead for defining marketing strategies across genomics research and Molecular Dx, understanding the needs of the customers, developing qPCR go-to market strategies, creating and executing fully integrated global marketing campaign plans, with the primary aim to raise awareness and drive demand of existing and newly launched qPCR products.

To develop compelling marketing strategies and campaigns targeted towards research and molecular diagnostic customers, the Sr.

Market Development Manager must possess a strong understanding of genomics technologies and applications.

The Sr Market Development Manager must build strong working relationships with various functional teams and outside vendors to execute integrated marketing programs designed to help achieve global sales, marketing, and revenue goals.

The role is global in nature, so you will be working closely with colleagues from all parts of the world.The successful individual must have strategic thinking, excellent written, verbal and content creation skills and a good track record in campaign creation and execution with excellent returns on investment.

With project management proficiency, the Sr Market Development Manager will turn strategies to plans and plans to action and results.

The successful candidate will be flexible and thrive in a team environment as well as show initiative and execute tasks of their own accord.**How will you make an impact?**+ Develop and execute strategy and tactics, with alignment to strategic plan to accomplish business goals and assesses their success against the Annual Operating Plan+ Define go-to-market strategies for the qPCR business that inform segmentation, targeting, positioning and messaging, as well as the marketing and channel mix+ Conduct in-depth research to understand customer needs and identify new market opportunities to support campaign creations+ Utilize direct knowledge of customers and competitors to identify target customer segments and create differentiated value propositions and key messages+ Develop and execute global marketing campaigns to drive demand for new and existing qPCR products; translate programs into tactical marketing plans and execute through development of sales tools & other marketing materials+ Create and implement marketing content across multiple channels, including social media, web, video and print; achieve agreed upon results for key initiatives+ Propose and execute on customer and market research programs to provide key market insights and actionable business outcomes+ Manage marketing budgets and optimize the promotional mix on campaigns to achieve a high return on investment+ Develop and present sales training and customer education material in collaboration with product management, R&D and commercial teams+ Partner with ebusiness & digital marketing teams to drive online growth of products.+ Coordinate with global functions to ensure consistency with brand profiles and company standards+ Work with regional market development managers to build and execute programs within their regions that align with the global campaign+ Identify key performance indicators to measure success, report out metrics and make data-driven decisions to adapt and optimize performance+ Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned**How will you get there?**Education+ Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline (e.g, molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry)Qualifications+ 5 years of experience in marketing roles with increasing levels of responsibility and demonstrated core competences: 4Ps, marketing mix, marketing communication, channels, segmentation, value proposition, market research analysis, and marketing program development and execution+ Experience in marketing with Life Sciences industry+ Combination of technical and marketing skills+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present publicly to varying audience sizes.+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to distill complex information into concise and easy to understand concepts+ Strategic thinker.
