The Verizon Media B2B Marketing team is responsible for bringing our stories and solutions to market, driving awareness of Verizon Media and our products, and enabling Sales with the tools to succeed and drive revenue.

We partner closely with the Sales teams to drive in-market awareness for advertisers, agencies, publishers, broadcasters and digital technology solutions.

Differentiating Verizon Media in unique and innovative ways, building credibility and recognition, and messaging our value proposition are critical to the success of this team.

A Lot About You

The Sr.

Manager, Industry Engagement Marketing is responsible for driving strategies and programs with key industry associations and partner organizations in order to improve value for Verizon Media, our partners, and our customers.

This leader cultivates long-term relationships with partner contacts to extend Verizon Media’s brand beyond our current channels and ecosystem.

This right person for this role is highly strategic, creative, collaborative, and passionate about finding innovative new partnerships that build our b2b brand.

Your Day

Lead on market positioning of Verizon Media B2B products as a must-buy for agencies, advertisers, publishers, and partners through end-to-end experiential marketing strategies and executions

Develop scaled and coordinated marketing plans and activations, inclusive of industry tentpole, sponsorship, and proprietary programs

Run strategic planning and execution of annual marketing plan, including developing a calendar of marketing experiences in line with overall business strategy that takes into consideration a 360-degree approach for target audiences

Ensure all marketing activities are value positive and aligned to business OKRs

Define fewer, bigger, better industry and customer initiatives to drive strong industry “share of voice”, growing market awareness, consideration, affinity, loyalty, and trust for Verizon Media

Effectively lead executive partners, cross-functional teams, workstreams, and timelines to ensure ecosystem alignment and overall project success

Elevate Verizon Media’s position in the market through the development of thought leadership content that amplifies Verizon Media’s unique voice and value proposition

Develop communication strategies that advise and update executives and partners on marketing strategies and campaigns, program performance, plans, and progress towards metrics.

You Must Have 

Deep industry knowledge and validated leadership in leading large scale cross-functional teams and projects and delivering ROI across a diverse slate of industry and customer experiences

Outstanding teamwork, leadership, and strong collaboration skills, and the ability to lead end-to-end marketing programs with success

Tried project management skills and experience, including leading multiple internal contributors, executives, peers, partners, and project simultaneously

Ability to partner with peers, leaders and executives, earn their trust and execute results, with the input and partnership of cross-functional teams

Ability to maintain consistency and flexibility in temperament and demeanor
