Facilities Manager to join our team in Playa Vista, CA.

Facilities Manager, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, will manage and direct activities including budgetary control, maintenance, space and move planning, supplies, safety/security, capital improvement planning, food & beverage services, event planning, budget management, and landlord/supplier relations.
Responsibilities:
· ensure professional, friendly, energetic and solution-oriented delivery of service excellence
· manage real estate across 5 Canvas office locations
· Plan, design and direct all real estate needs including space and seat planning
· Lead small scale construction projects
· Identify opportunities to reduce short-and long-term operating costs while increasing productivity
· Oversee the maintenance, safety, cleanliness and administrative support for all locations
· Identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve efficiencies
· Produce and manage reporting as required
· Maintain and develop trusted vendor relationships
· Manage event planning including annual OneCanvas event Qualifications:
· Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in property management and/or Facilities management within a large corporate environment
· Minimum 6 years of experience in a people supervisory role
· Understanding of ADA, OSHA and Cal OSHA standards and regulations
· Knowledge of real estate, furniture, space planning, building systems and financials
· Project management experience
· Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills
· Excellent collaboration and communication skills
