The AADG group is looking for a Sr.

Director of CPU Core Design Engineering.

In this role, you will build and lead a team that will implement and productize a next-generation high-performance CPU core microarchitecture.

This team will include RTL design, validation, and physical design, with the expectation that it will be strong in technical engineering skills, exceptionally innovative, and will deliver multiple generations of future CPU cores.

This role will be responsible for navigating the myriad technical challenges of developing aggressive high-performance CPU cores, including complex RTL logic design, memory array strategies/techniques, clocking, power, area, timing convergence, debug, validation, quality, the adoption/selection of key semiconductor tools/flows/methodologies to achieve the aggressive product goals with high engineering productivity.

This role will have primary responsibility for creating and communicating a powerful and shared vision both within the team and outside the team.

In this leadership role, this person will be the face of the project in communicating execution status and challenges to both executive leadership and key partners.

Qualifications Required Qualifications:
– 20 years of experience in CPU core design, validation, physical design, and semiconductor tools/flows/methodologies.

– Keen understanding of industry trends relating to CPU microarchitecture, design, validation, productivity, power, quality, reliability, and costs.

– MS/PhD in.

EE/CS Preferred Qualifications:
– Track record of leading CPU core engineering teams that implemented and productized commercially successful CPU products.

– Proven and multi-year deep experience in logic design, memory arrays, clocking, power, timing convergence, debug, validation, key tools/flows/methodologies, and other related technologies.

– Track record of building strong and highly energized technical organizations to achieve goals on-schedule with high-quality
– Track record of challenging existing processes while driving teams to adopt high-productivity, high-value initiatives
– Reputation for bringing vision and a culture of innovation that inspires the team to take on challenges to a world-beating level
– Reputation for ethical conduct and unquestionable integrity.
