Business Analyst / Business Technology Coordinator for our Global Markets (Capital Markets) planning team with a focus on our Foreign Exchange business.

This person will manage one or more concurrent projects – Waterfall or Agile.

They will also provide business analyst and management of IT solution tasks for sales and trading user support

Job Summary:
Serve as the liaison between the Global Markets sales and trading staff and Internal Technology Groups.

Execute project – waterfall and agile – as well as daily user support, with a focus on the FX business and systems supporting the FX business.

Responsibilities:
Within project related responsibilities : Ensure the project scope, or sprint scope is defined and documented Plan & conduct analysis of business problems and provides requirements on behalf of business to technology partners to develop systems that are cost effective and meet user requirements Assist with the preparation of functional requirements, feasibility studies, program specifications, user test plans, user documentation, and user training plans.

Help in the design of application and technical solutions to enhance end-user efficiencies.

Lead and / or execute testing and problem resolution Sales and Trading support and technology solutions : Document and track user requests – both business and technology.

(Tool: JIRA) Act as a consultant to user management in planning and implementing system and operational changes Assist in the installation and overall testing of bank-developed or vendor-supplied packages.

Provide formal and informal user training and general user support.

Actively working with business to examine and optimize business models and data flow processes.

Provide guidance and training to less experienced staff
The right candidate will have:
Foreign Exchange Markets Experience and business knowledge Experience with FX booking, trading systems and ECNs.

OPICS and / or Calypso FX strongly preferred A minimum 6+ years of FX business management or system analyst or business analyst or project management experience.

Within a trading floor environment is preferred 4+ years’ experience in the finance/banking industry A Bachelor/Master’s degree in a relevant discipline Soft skills should include Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills Good time management / task management skills Understanding of Project Management techniques Capable of managing multiple priorities Able to work in a remote team environment Experienced in eliciting and capturing requirements, compiling Business Requirements Documentation (BRD), compiling Functional Requirement Documentation (FRD) Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and other Microsoft tools
Nice to have skills:
Business and/or technical knowledge of one or more of our core products: fixed income, foreign exchange, foreign exchange or IRS / derivatives knowledge of DB’s (SQL, Oracle, Progress) or ability to write SQL Experience with Tableau use functions Experience working in a trading floor environment supporting front, middle and back office functions Advanced communication and writing skills in composing detailed business specifications, recommendations, reports, internal policies and procedures and presentations to management
