SR. Business Operations Consultant

An employer is looking for a Sr. Digital Business Operations Consultant in the Los Angeles, CA area. This role is a business-savvy change agent leader, a corporate strategist, a product specialist, and a workflow designer. They understand how clinical operations work and are tasked with defining the field of opportunity and project scope. This position must wear many hats to develop the operational structures needed to drive growth, expansion, and innovation of digital capabilities to reflect organization’s reputation as a highly visible, innovative, digitally- savvy, and customer-centric healthcare organization.

As a subject matter expert, The SR Consultant will lead and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage a portfolio of projects throughout the project lifecycle and within scope and schedule. This position will serve as a bridge between clinical operations and technical resources to ensure the business model is in alignment with organization’s vision and strategy.

-Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Healthcare Administration, IT or a related field -as a Bus/Ops Strategist of an early-stage start-up in the digital consumer healthcare space -Five years of experience in healthcare technology business operations including strategic development and business planning.

-Strong healthcare operations experience -Develops work plans, setting forth key milestones and tasks for well-defined and ambiguous initiatives (leveraging working knowledge of agile development methodologies, as needed) -Identifies issues which may delay deliverables and elevates recommendations to project leadership

-Demonstrates ability to sort through multiple work prioritization issues across project effort.

-Independently manage large-scale organizational and business change to support digital ventures, products, or initiatives; ability to influence and/or negotiate.

-Ability to manage stakeholder time and schedules to meet aggressive deadlines and influence through persuasive written and verbal communication.

-Strong understanding of mobile and web technologies and industries.

-Experience with APIs/third party integrations (EHR integrations is a plus).

-A demonstrated and focused desire to create and grow products and services that patients will love.
