This role will report to Sr.

Manager, Construction and Installations and based in Los Angeles, CA.Role and Responsibilities:Coordinate site build activities with Bloom Energy team and subcontractorsMonitor day to day activities of contractors and audit safety standardsReview and approve site design drawings and confer with designers and applications engineers to adjust discrepancies and clarify detailsPerform site and system verifications; identification and troubleshooting of open items prior to field service and commissioning handoffResponsible for commissioning of all Bloom Energy ancillary equipmentAssist project managers in controlling budgets & scheduleIdentify and recommend process improvements and cost savings in build activitiesProvide feedback and documentation for subsequent site buildsEnsure all project execution documents are technical complete and meet the local and state lawsEnsure compliance of all safety, and performance metrics during site construction for Bloom Energy personnel and General ContractorsEnsure that Bloom Energy customers have 100% Customer Satisfaction with the with the construction and installation processCoordinate and troubleshoot site network connectivity with Bloom Energy IT & host customerCoordinate shipment, placement, anchoring of fuel cellsCoordinate site/system commissioning with Field Service PersonnelCoordinate final utility interconnections and utility inspectionsTrain employees and first emergency responders about fuel cell system operation & safetyProvide feedback and documentation for subsequent site buildsProvide status reports of all site activitiesEnsure all revenue reporting meters are installed and functioning properlyExtensive travel within the region is required; may require some travel outside of regionOff-hour and weekend work may be required to support installation planSkills and Experience:7 years of relevant work experience is requiredThorough knowledge of all aspects of construction: Including technology, equipment, methods, cost control methods, and safety requirementsMust possess a highly motivated personality and a strong ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focusWell-developed and professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization, as well as outside customers, utility and governmental personnelMust be able to read and interpret fuel cell/electrical single line diagrams and blueprintsProficiency in MS Office SuiteFamiliarity with building/mechanical/electrical codes (NEC, NFPA) requiredPreferred Skills and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science or related fieldBackground in facilities, power systems, and grid interconnectionClass “B” General Contractors License favorableAbout Bloom Energy:At Bloom Energy, we strive toward a 100% renewable future.
