AECOM Water is seeking a Southern California Director of Strategy and Growth for employment, to support and grow our regional water/wastewater practice. In this role, the selected candidate will work closely with our planners, engineers, scientists, landscape architects, and construction managers to develop integrated solutions and business development opportunities. The Southern California Director of Strategy and Growth reports to the Division Manager of our Pacific/Four Corners Area and works closely with the client account managers, other Directors of Strategy and Growth, market sector leads, and our Global business line.

Primary Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of the Southern California Director of Strategy and Growth will be to support and grow our regional water and wastewater practice and provide leadership and guidance as it relates to our services. In this role, the selected candidate will work with our US West Region Water team, collaborate with our National and Global Water teams, and be responsible for the overall vision and growth strategy for our Water/Wastewater practice Southern California. The selected candidate will also function as a mentor to staff, manage client relationships, and help support projects and programs that may include or require:

·        Water/Wastewater infrastructure projects including, treatment and pipeline planning, design, and construction

·        Understanding of regional and national regulations

·        Relationships with regional and national clients and professionals

·        Design of pump stations, pipelines, and treatment facilities

·        Program management and/or Alternative Delivery
