Sodexo is seeking an experienced Food Production Manager 3 for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles located in Los Angeles, CA.

Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is a 450 bed hospital.

This is a fast paced unit that provides retail cafe, At Your Request (AYR) patient services and catering services.

Reporting to the Executive Chef the Food Production Manager will help lead the culinary team members in managing our daily food production operations.

The selected candidate will work a flexible schedule that will include some evenings, rotating weekends and some holidays.The successful candidate will:manage daily food production including planning and controls; motivate, coach, mentor and develop 30 frontline staff; ensuring SodexoCulinary Standards including recipe compliance and food quality; manage orderingand inventory; ensure company food and physical safety programs and standards are followed; manage vendor relationships and compliance.Is this opportunity right for you?

Manages food production through kitchen staff in a large facility.

Contributes to account revenue and operating profit contribution through cost containment and safety.Key DutiesUtilizes Sodexo resources, recipes, systems and programs to direct daily operations including; food production, inventory, product deliveries, invoices, and procurement operations.Ensures employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources to perform their job, and meet goals, cost controls and deadlines as assigned.Establishes and maintains a safe work environment including both food and physical safety in order to comply with all regulatory and Sodexo standardsComplies with budget requirements by controlling costs (i.E.
