We own the world’s largest and well-known portfolio of rolling paper and accessory brands that are growing considerably as a result of the cannabinoid legalization movement and a renewed commitment to brand and consumer marketing.

We’re searching for a director, social media with experience designing world-class social media programs for top-shelf CPG brands that people desire and use every day and even better, you have experience in regulated categories such as adult beverages, spirits or cannabis.

We’ll also be interested if you’ve worked for other world-class CPG brands such as Coca-Cola etc.

We are seeking a self-starter that can operate independently, create ideas and perspectives and always on the look-out for new trends, thoughts or innovations.

You should be an organized professional always on the lookout for ways to improve social engagement.

This role will lead social media, content creation and community engagement for Republic Brand’s brand portfolio which have social media presence, including the parent brand rollwithrepublic.

This professional will manage teams, including agency partners, to drive the brand strategy across all relevant platforms, editorial priorities, paid social where allowed, social listening and developing actionable insights for all Republic brands on social.

Basic Qualifications Responsibilities include
– Strategy
– Lead the strategy by delivering each of the brand’s strategy, personality and product marketing through social media.

Make recommendations to leadership on approach, tactics, content ideas and insight-driven methods to drive followership and engagement.

Social Listening – Each brand has a priority segment and through our research we are learning how the consumer segments in rolling are changing over time.

Listening to the sentiment in the marketplace for our brands, competitive brands and near-in brands will help us shape better strategy.

You will provide learning and insight to leadership through listening platforms.

Content Creation – Working with our in-house content team and agency partners, create engaging and compelling content that our consumers want to consume.

Education, entertainment and other types of content in the rolling space.

Community Management – Working with our in-house legal and brand teams, create a roadmap for how engage not only consumers, but our channel customers and distributors on social media.

Support the key strategic objectives of the corporation in product launches, new merchandise and accessories, brand collaborations and more.

Influencer – Build and manage a macro and micro-influencer program to support rollwithrepublic but also each individual brand.

Research and procure an influencer CRM platform to manage this program.

Qualifications & Experience 10 years with proven history on the building and management of world-class social programs that have been recognized by the industry.

This experience would be preferred from an in-house brand organization in a regulated category such as spirits, beer, cannabis or other CPG brand category.

We will also consider the right person from the agency-side given your experience goes deep on strategy and program creation.

A leader that can take control of a program in a company that requires direction on social media and manage agency partners for content creation and program development.

You will be able to share stories for how you crafted, developed and launched compelling social media strategies for recognized brands.

Operate in an organization and comfortable with C-level executives, educating them on how to operate within social in a regulated environment.

You’ve driven significant follower growth for brands and know the hacks of the platforms to do so.

You love data, but you love telling the stories the data whispers to you more.

You have a mastery of listening platforms and analytics and can make a business case to leadership why we need to invest in certain platforms now and into the future.
