Social Media and Engagement Manager

Our client, a health-focused nonprofit, is seeking a temporary-to-hire Social Media Specialist for their office in Rockville, MD About You: A Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.

3 years performing social media management.

Google Analytics certification Demonstrated knowledge and creation of digital advertising campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, LinkedIn, and other platforms Ability to summarize complex data into actionable insights for reporting Proficient in software including Google Business Applications, Outlook, project management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

The Job: Execute and evolve a social media strategy Oversee and contribute to social media content development Create and maintain a social media calendar and monitor social media daily to identify and address issues Oversee measurement, analytics, and optimization of social media efforts Support multiple marketing projects by coordinating marketing campaigns and managing social media and websites.

Other marketing duties as assigned.

This temporary-to-hire opportunity offers $20-$24/hour on the contract side and $50k-$55k once permanent depending on experience.
