Our mission is to “create the best memories, again and again,” for our guests, our employees, our community, and our strategic partners.POSITION SUMMARY The Training Supervisor is responsible for daily operations of the Ski Ride School training program at Winter Park Ski & Ride School.
The Training Supervisor will follow all Winter Park policies and procedures, all applicable laws (federal, state, and local), and all health and sanitation codes.ESSENTIAL DUTIESDirectly manage all aspects of Ski Ride School training including selecting trainer staff, designing curriculum, scheduling trainers and clinics, staff participation, quality assurance, and employee satisfaction.
Regularly delivers trainings on a variety of topics.Is responsible for recruiting, hiring, firing, evaluating, scheduling, and payroll, and professional development of all members of the ski school training staff alongside the SRS Training Manager.In coordination with the other SRS supervisors, manages, conducts, and assists in the professional development of the staff.Schedule all clinics, clinic leaders, and monitoring participationAssist Training Manager with producing training resources including handbooks, standard operating procedures, training clinic outlines, and curriculums.Model professional leadership.
Build and encourage an enjoyable and safe working environment.
Regularly observe, reward, engage, and offer feedback to staff and peers.
Work with direct and indirect reports to establish and achieve goals throughout the season.Manage supplies and equipment necessary to the training program.Assists SRS Managers & Winter Park Risk & Safety Manager and in minimizing accident potential for staff.Attend PSIA and Snowsports education industry events as a representative of WPSRS.Manage a working relationship with PSIA and coordinates requests for traveling clinics, exam requests, and assure successful in-house events.Develop relationships with peers at competing areas and seeks out ways to bring more value and innovation to the training program.Coordinate and cooperate effectively and regularly with all departments throughout SRS and the Resort.Regularly lead clinics, assist with front line duties, teach and observe classes, and generally offer support throughout the School.Other duties as assigned.This job description is an overview of the scope of responsibilities and is not intended to be an inclusive list of job tasks and expectations.

Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel.
