A large Civil Engineering firm is looking for a qualified Senior Transportation Project Manager to work in their office in Los Angeles, CA.Job Summary:• Management of the development and execution of project(s) scope, schedule and budget.• Responsible for providing leadership and strategic guidance to the highway/bridge sub-business line.• Preparation of project updates, presentations, recommendations and other project plans.• Review and development of progress and status reports.• Ability to effectively lead the Highway/Bridge design teams.• Contribution to the growth of the Highway/Bridge practice in southern California• Track transportation projects and pre-position for upcoming projects, act as Capture Manager on project pursuits, play an active role in the preparation of selected SOQs/RFPs and lead project teams during interviews.• Win new work in the southern California highway/bridge planning and design market.• Maintain client satisfaction on assigned projects.• Assist in developing staff.Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.• Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration.• 15+ years of experience in managing highway/bridge design projects.• Professional Engineers (PE) civil license (ability to obtain California PE within 6 months)• Experience in managing highway/bridgework scope, budgets and schedules.• Experience managing projects located on Caltrans’ facilities.• Strong technical and project coordination skills.If you want to make a career change and need professional help, contact our Recruiters today!Phone: 602 833 8596Email:or email us: engineering.vacancy(at)hireresolve.com
