Job Summary

The Senior Sales Systems Manager supports the growing sales organization and its daily sales activities.

This position is an expert in aligning technology solutions with sales process and workflows yielding effective and efficient outcomes supported by action-oriented analysis and insights across systems, channels, and campaigns. 

In partnership with leaders across the Sales and Marketing organization, the Senior Sales Systems Manager will ensure the technology solutions that we invest in are the right ones and are optimized appropriately.

 The person in this role must have strong knowledge of the technology solutions to understand potential and identify opportunities for improvement.

 This position is highly analytical with a fluent understanding of sales workflows and analytics, relational data models and exceedingly high standards of quality and controls.

 The Senior Sales Systems Manager will gather strategic objectives from Sales and Marketing leadership and represent those requirements to the Technology team, ultimately delivering an effective technology stack that supports our growth objectives.

 

The Senior Sales Systems Manager will also provide general operational support for email and call engagement systems, providing technical troubleshooting and system support, and will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure that policies and procedures for tracking and measuring success are followed and maintained.

Job Responsibilities 
Work with VP of Sales Operations to help develop and implement technology vision and operating plans; set direction based on alignment to Sales strategy and technology opportunities.  Review all business processes that either are / are not in place to support the data needs and work with business partners to align process and technology to data strategy.  Ensure appropriate, effective, and compliant use of available technology including Outreach, SalesForce, Gong, and the entire sales technology stack.

In partnership with Sales Enablement, lead the successful delivery of technology related change initiatives from inception to deployment, requiring focus on root cause analysis of problems, identification of issues to be addressed and ensuring technical and operational solutions align with business needs.

Provide knowledge and understanding of systems and applications within the eMoney sales and marketing technology ecosystem
– identifying opportunities, highlighting business value, capabilities, limitations, and dependencies, leveraging best practices and driving adoption.

Continuously evaluate opportunities to improve productivity and to maximize efficiency of business processes and application utilization.

Execute and provide day to day management of information systems tech stack as well as ongoing optimization and enhancement efforts, implementations, and integration projects that are prioritized by Sales and Marketing leadership.

Primary point of contact to sales leadership for all systems-related issues or outages impacting the Sales’ technical applications.

Collaborate with Internal Systems and complete QA testing for technical requests to ensure all deliverables are correctly executed.

Ensure successful provisioning and licensing of all Sales and Marketing department users of system applications by meeting employees start dates or other critical deadlines.

Integrate discipline into our organization, creating stable infrastructure and building repeatable processes within the CRM and organization-wide to support the Business Systems Data Governance program.

Build and maintain relationships with key contacts at third party vendors.

Oversee the day-to-day execution of the Sales team’s information systems and technology, ensuring proper utilization.

  Perform troubleshooting for new and existing technology applications as required to support Business Development objectives.

In partnership with Sales Enablement, define and implement appropriate controls / oversight focused on maintaining the integrity and reliability of both current and future systems, data and business processes as they relate to internal information strategy.  Work with Sales Enablement and Sales Operations teams for alignment on key initiatives leveraging sales technology and strategic sales methodologies.

Requirements 
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 6+ years of direct experience in Sales Operations, Business Systems, or a similar field, with strong knowledge in Salesforce/CRM, Outreach (or similar), Zuora/ERP, Eloqua/Marketing Automation platform experience preferred
Skills 
Proven business acumen with the ability to see the big picture and work tactically to make progress on cross functional, enterprise wide projects through continuous improvement  Demonstrated problem solving through insightful solutions that address complex issues; the ability to dissect root cause of issues and create and innovative solutions while considering readiness priority, level of effort and work in progress.

Detailed knowledge of the client experience, business verticals, objectives and supporting technologies
– particularly related to CRM, marketing automation, ERP systems and eMoney applications with a metric driven focus  Demonstrated ability to translate/ communicate complex concepts to peers and business partners to convey information in non-technical terms with high capacity for adaptation to a rapidly changing environment in support of enterprise wide priorities.  Strong ability to cultivate, partner, and maintain trusted relationships with a broad range of stakeholders from across the organization (Sales, Marketing, Internal Systems, Data and Analytics, 3 rd Party vendors for key applications) Must be able to adapt quickly to demands and needs of organization Demonstrated record of meeting commitments and delivering results
Ability to manage numerous tasks and projects concurrently and have the ability to work well with cross-functional groups
– particularly sales, marketing and information systems teams.

Ability to focus on operational excellence with a drive to continually connect the dots and identify how micro processes can have systemic implications.
