Senior Project Manager – Highways
Location – Los Angeles, CA
Salary – $225,000 + Attractive Benefits
THE BUSINESS
Hamilton Mayer is honoured to be the preferred recruiting partner for a well-renowned, widely recognised market leader in the US within the Construction and Infrastructure sector.
Identified as one of the top 10 ENR Contractor, the organisation is seeking to strengthen their senior leadership with whom will be responsible a project portfolio with Caltrans ranging between $50-250m and will be a recognised leader with 10-20yrs experience in the industry.

THE ROLE
* Overall responsibility for the delivery of multiple projects encompassing bridges, roads and wider heavy civils transportation work.
* Implement Zero Accident Philosophy, and other Environmental, Safety and Health methods to ensure everyone on the jobsite goes home safely every day and stakeholders’ considerations are met.
* Ensure that the highway project teams and subcontractors comply with policies and procedures at all times.
* Key experience dealing with Caltrans in the past will be highly desirable.
* Provides full support to enable suitable and sufficient engineering deliverables are prepared, reviewed and issued in a timely manner.
* Maintain a record of all documentation relating to the delivery of the project at a site level and communicate to Executive Leadership.
KEY EXPERIENCE
* 10-20yrs years of relevant experience of Management in Transportation/Infrastructure, ideally working in the heavy highways sector.
* Relevant experience and proven skillset of mobilising heavy highways work acting as the face of the tier 1 contractor when dealing with Caltrans.
* Comprehensive understanding of environmental, safety and health regulations and their implementation.
* Ability to fluently communicate at all levels.
* Engineering/Civil Engineering Degree in a relevant discipline would be desirable but not essential.
* Membership of an appropriate Professional Institution.
