The Role
This role reports directly to the Senior Director of Product Strategy and Operations and provides project management services on behalf of the Product & Technology organization. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of assigned projects in strong partnership with a distributed team of highly skilled HR Business Partners. You bring well-developed project management skills, combined with a deep understanding of organizational change. You work hand in hand with key partners on people-focused projects that enable us to scale our business.
With both a strategic lens and passion for detail, you will support a diverse array of projects from origination through final implementation. Roles and responsibilities, key milestones, timelines, and communications will need to be coordinated and monitored to ensure successful delivery.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a motivated, organized self-starter, who is able to solve routine or complicated problems effectively, prioritize and drive multiple projects at once to successful completion. They will have proven experience in consulting, program management, business operations, or similar and demonstrated ability in the following areas of responsibility.
- Passion for continuous improvement in the pursuit of operational excellence and finding creative solutions to complex problems.
- Develop partnerships with HR Program and Project Management experts within the People team and across the organization.
- Applies principles of change management to understand, forecast and manage the people impacts of transformational change initiatives.
- Comfortable with authoring many types of documents, including agendas, action/project plans, and presentations. Strong skills with spreadsheets and a variety of data/information.
- Enthusiasm for delivering excellence and exceptional attention to detail.
- Develops options and recommendations to drive critical decisions.
- Tracks costs and performance and other metrics required to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
- Establishes processes and methodologies to ensure assigned projects are delivered on time, within budget, meet high quality standards using appropriate tools and data.
- Serves as a resource to project leaders to educate and assist them with implementing project management processes and making improvements/changes.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, leadership capabilities, analytical skills, and presentation skills.
- Manages confidential data to ensure meeting all required privacy requirements
Requirements:
- BA/ BS Degree or equivalent years of experience
- Project/change management education/certification or equivalent experience
- 7+ years experience working in a program/project management capacity
- The role can be remote within the US, primary business hours are in the Pacific Time Zone
