Senior Program Manager

I’m working with a client of ours located in Long Beach, CA in need of a Project Manager to join their team!

The ideal candidate will have a background supporting outside SaaS vendors.

This is a very outward facing role; working a lot with hosted software platforms/vendors and managing portfolios ex; CRM/ERP platforms.

This is a permanent position with a competitive salary package!

You will be working with 5-6 major vendors and becoming POC and working on SLAs.

Ideal candidate will be able to come onsite 1 week per month.

Manage operational programs associated with key SaaS/cloud-hosted systems and the strategic relationships with each vendor and program stakeholder.

Ensure alignment on organizational priorities amongst the leadership teams.

Oversee execution of critical activities related to each system.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Formulate, organize and lead the execution of critical activities related to the operational programs of each SAAS system that includes software releases, system configuration, defect management, change requests and communication, while ensuring progress is on schedule and within budget.

Manage the Change Request process and budget for each SAAS system.

Routinely analyze each program execution for continual improvement opportunities and work with appropriate parties to implement them.

Advocate and influence the vendor’s product roadmap and release plans based on the understanding of each stakeholder’s business objectives, and relevant emerging trends.

Maintain positive relationships with program stakeholders, IT and vendors by proactively setting expectations, coordinating information exchange and regularly keeping them informed of progress and risks.

Troubleshoot program risks and deficiencies and identify mitigations or solutions.

Implement mitigation strategy with appropriate resources.

Actively manage key SaaS vendors based on contractual and service level agreements and work with each to continually improve quality, performance or service level issues.

Participate in key system vendor selection and contract negotiation.

Assess each program’s performance and aim to maximize ROI.

Facilitate meetings effectively, including executive level report outs and staff level brainstorming sessions.

Follow Software and Services department guidelines, protocols, tools, and processes.
