ViewRay is seeking exceptional individuals to help re-envisioning radiation therapy to conquer cancer Specifically, ViewRay is looking for a Program Manager to join our Product Development Project Management Office (PMO) team to proactively lead complex project and program execution within Product Development through management of cross-functional teams.
This position will be responsible for the planning, reporting, execution, control, and completion of new product development activities through design control and business processes through commercial release and implementation, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals while ensuring the projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with sufficient value.
Lead the planning and implementation of complex, cross-functional projects and programs supporting product development.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with multiple internal functions including Product Development, Quality & Regulatory, Operations, Customer Support, and Product Management.
Drive project goals and deliverables definition and team execution to exceed expectations.
Define project tasks and resource requirements.
Assemble and coordinate cross-functional project teams.
Manage project budget and assess and manage project risk.
Monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.
Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions.
Ensure quality assurance as defined in the quality manual.
Evaluate and assess project execution and results.
Contribute to continuous improvement of product development and design control processes.
Whiling to mentor junior Project Managers or Technical Leader teammates.
The Value you Will Bring Bachelors degree in Engineering or Science and 8 years of solid knowledge and experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in managing complex cross-functional product development projects and programs that span multiple years in duration.
Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management and change management.
Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work both independently and cross-functionally.
Medical device industry experience and PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
Large capital equipment experience in managing Hardware, Software, and Systems program execution preferred.
