As a Senior Product Manager
– Application Security, you will lead the development of a new SAST engine to help developers find and fix security problems faster.
Successful candidates will have deep SAST business knowledge and hands-on technical experience with programming tools and static analysis.

Key Responsibilities Overall responsibility for SAST solution including IDE and CI/CD integration Engage globally with customers and field organizations to gather and prioritize requirements, define product roadmap, and drive high customer satisfaction and end-user engagement Collaborate with Engineering, UX and Security Research teams to define and build a great product Work in an Agile Product Development process and develop epics and user-stories in a timely manner so we can ship new features and improvements every two weeks Work closely with Marketing on key aspects of go-to-market planning including pricing, packaging, positioning, competitive analysis, and sales enablement Work with the broader product management team across SIG to help identify product concepts, develop feasibility studies, and business plans for commercialization Collaborate with the field-facing teams (sales, support, customer success, training, etc.) to ensure these teams are enabled on new product / feature delivery Overall accountability for the success of the product and business Key Qualifications Must be a change agent who is eager to explore new ideas and experiment 10 years of hands-on AppSec and SAST experience is a must have 10 years of Product Management and/or related experience (sales engineering, development, customer success, etc.) in enterprise software Strong analytical skills with ability to drive deep product insights from data Conflict management skills including the ability to work with and resolve conflicting priorities and requirements Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in the face of multiple project demands with focus on critical details Enthusiastic presenter who can deliver roadmaps and demos to internal and external audiences Excellent communication skills and inter-personal skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience Highly Desired Proven experience with SAST, DevSecOps and modern software development practices Deep knowledge of SAST solutions on the market Experienced with SAST evolution with container, IaC and Cloud Native application, beyond traditional data flow analysis such as CIS benchmarks for Azure and Docker Deep understanding of multi-tenant cloud architectures and SaaS business models Synopsys, Software Integrity Group, is named a leader for 2020 in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Application Security Testing (AST), in recognition of our vision and ability to execute.
