Ranker is seeking a rock star Senior Product Manager who can take ownership of far more than just the UI. We have already built a sophisticated product that has gained significant market traction; we are looking for someone who can immediately add a layer of value to take us to the next level. 

The Senior Product Manager will be hands-on across the following key areas: product analytics, functional user story development, information architecture, and user experience. The perfect candidate would be energized by the opportunity to pioneer new solutions and evolve our existing offerings.

As the Senior Product Manager, you will report to the Chief Product Officer and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to champion initiatives that significantly affect the direction of the company and impact profits. This role is ideal for someone who has demonstrated success in delivering substantial growth through end-to-end product management.

What you’ll do

Deliver insightful product recommendations to business leaders and the executive team in a persuasive and thoughtful manner. Build consensus and effectively influence senior-level stakeholders.

Develop your product roadmap and manage stakeholders to keep them apprised of milestones, progress, and results

Distill business requirements into clear and concise user stories and facilitate verbal and written discussion with the Engineering team

Drive alignment among stakeholders (e.g., Design, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Operations, Editorial, Sales, Marketing) 

Prioritize user stories, defects, and enhancements to ensure that the team efficiently delivers the Product vision

Be a subject matter expert and provide insights into product, technology and market trends

Gather and manage product feedback through surveys, user testing, analytics tools, and A/B testing

Be a champion of the MVP concept, distilling the product down to what is desirable, viable and feasible

Monitor and report on product KPIs

What You’ll Need

At least 5+ years of solid B2C product management experience

A track record launching large-scale consumer-facing products, ideally in the digital publishing space

Experience working within Agile

Extensive A/B testing experience

Strategic thinker combined with planned execution. Excellent problem-solving skills, self-motivation and the capacity to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, intellectually-demanding and data-driven environment

The ability to set and manage expectations at the executive level

Excellent leadership skills with experience collaborating with cross-functional teams

Experience with Jira, or other issue-tracking software

Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or other analytics software

A general knowledge or interest of pop culture
