We are working hard towards unlocking the full potential of sustainable energy and climate change mitigation.We are looking to grow our team of diverse critical thinkers who share our passion in the transition to a more sustainable future, solving problems that matter, working with people who care and want to help make a difference.Position Overview* Romeo Power’s Senior Procurement Manager* Develop the Strategic sourcing strategies to lead the success of Romeo Power Supply Chain* Liaise with internal teams and supplier partners to establish a robust supply chain for all components, parts, assemblies, and services* Manage, coach, and lead the Procurement Specialists to establish and maintain a world class supply chain* Possesses strong interpersonal skills to influence and negotiating with leadership and peers to drive objective data-based decisions in a timely manner* Travels to suppliers in different regions to manage supplier relationships* The incumbent must possess comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing techniques, procurement acumen, financial acumen, and have unrelenting motivation to successfully manage the supply chainKey Roles & Responsibilities* Responsible for overall management for domestic/international supply base for mechanical, electromechanical, and electronics components* Lead the supplier identification, selection, and approval process with Romeo’s cross-functional teams* Conduct comprehensive supplier analysis, including strategic direction, capacity, market/industry position, and risk assessment* Monitor and manage all costs to ensure adherence to project-specific budgets, forecasts and maintain cost of Bill of Materials* Develop the Strategic Sourcing Plan that mitigates Global supply disruptions* Develop and ensure all commercial terms, SOWs, and Master Purchase Agreements are reviewed, agreed, and documented* Collaborate with a cross-functional team to achieve cost, quality, and delivery targets* Analyze procurement data and report metrics.

Be the “go to” resource for Engineering, and Operations teams when determining best value suppliers, NPI Sourcing plans, make vs.

buy, should cost, buy complete strategies, lead times, etc.* Facilitate early involvement of key internal and external stakeholders in new product development process ensuring DFX input is incorporated in the development cycle to support a successful production ramp up* Manage supplier relationships & performance, including but not limited to dispute resolution* Develop key performance measures for chosen suppliers and negotiate on multiple variables to award longer-term strategic contracts that result in significant cost reduction and improved service levels* Evaluate supplier business proposals and present recommendations that will result in cost savings, avoidance, or containment* Evaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning using industry cost modelsBasic Qualifications* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering and/or equivalent experience or evidence of exceptional ability* 7+ years of experience in Procurement and strategic sourcing, with a strong background in electrical/mechanical engineering in the Automotive Industry.* Hands-on experience and excellent understanding of costing, production tooling and manufacturing processes (not limited to the following) such as injection molding, CNC machining, die-casting, extrusion, forging, stamping, PCBA, and wire-harnesses.* Experience of developing and buying large volume tools/parts/commodities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.* Ability to handle and analyze large data with great attention to details* Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills* Ability to multi-task, prioritize and thrive in an extremely fast-paced dynamic environment* Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office applications, particularly Microsoft ExcelPreferred Skills* MBA or master’s degree in Engineering discipline is a plus* Experience with MRP and ERP systems* Possess demonstrable leadership abilities, drive for results and customer satisfaction* Demonstrate innovation and technical excellence & courage* Collaboration & teamwork (attention to detail, analytical in-order-to plan and organize)* Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to liaise cross functionally, internally, externally, and make presentations to team members and management* Preferred experience in the Electric Vehicle (EV) Procurement or Supply Chain Industry.
