About the role
Primary focus (70%) for the role is to develop, execute and measure joint marketing activities with our Cloud, Technology and SI/Consulting Partners to drive pipeline.
Secondary focus (30%) is to create content; joint marketing collateral and campaigns, joint partner solution guides, FAQs, blog posts, etc.
- Drive leads and pipeline through partner marketing activities including:
- Planning and executing joint marketing campaigns with partners
- Leveraging partner business and profitability models to develop joint value propositions and executing on activities that drive measurable results
- Establish pipeline goals for joint marketing activities, with internal partner rep and the partner, and track performance metrics for those activities and deliverables
- Field requests for partner marketing and co-sell activities and prioritize them based on expected ROI and/or other metrics
- Identify new opportunities to drive partner pipeline
- Assist partner team with partner marketing onboarding activities; welcome new partners to the program, assess their level of marketing maturity and resources, and align marketing resources based on partner priority
- Work collaboratively across the organization to develop joint partner marketing assets
- Work with internal teams, including product marketing and product management, to maintain partner asset library
- Work closely with marketing ops to ensure reporting is accurate and representative of metrics that need to be tracked
- Manage partner communication portals and ensure partners have access to everything they need to be successful
- Develop joint partner marketing collateral to support pipeline driven activities, including campaigns, webinars, virtual and live events, and more
Attributes we’re looking for
- Technically-savvy with proven ability to recognize areas of customer value and product integration, discuss product roadmaps, and engage with product managers.
- A collaborative approach to marketing with demonstrated ability to earn trust with business development, marketing, and sales teams across partner organizations.
- Ability to develop creative and compelling messaging that clearly articulates and reinforces the unique differentiation of joint partner solutions.
What we need to see
- Demonstrated skills in creating compelling and relevant messaging and content
- Demonstrated experience and success marketing cloud solutions for major platforms, including AWS, Azure, GCP and ISVs.
- 5-7 years of partner marketing experience with demonstrated success creating and executing successful partner marketing programs.
- 2+ years of experience developing and executing joint marketing strategy with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure preferred
- Ability to build relationships, manage and influence stakeholders.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
