KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Manager to join our Tax Ignition practice.

Responsibilities:

Work with clients to understand overall operational, data, and information requirements for tax processes, including documenting tax processes and organization, analyzing tax data/calculations/reports, and understanding technology environment and interfaces
Design process and technology enablers for tax functions using one or a combination of technology applications; work with client and KPMG team members to implement, test, and monitor the planned improvements
Apply financial reporting standards and tax technical guidance to processes and technology enablers; lead the preparation and presentation of materials including proposals, findings and reports
Assist in new business development related to these tax services and work on a wide variety of solutions based on client and tax engagement team’s needs; provide guidance, supervision, and training to staff members
Develop and maintain project plans and other project management functions, including liaising with client project teams and developing, motivating, and training staff-level team members
Build and manage client relationships as well as collaborate with industry and subject matter professionals

Qualifications:

A minimum of eight years of a combination of corporate tax and tax technology experience in an audit, tax, or advisory services firm, corporation, law firm, or other service provider
Licensed CPA, J.D., LL.M., PhD, MBA, or MS in Computer Science from an accredited college/university; CISA (Certified Info Systems Auditor); CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional); CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner); CFF (Certified in Financial Forensics); CORPTAX (CORPTAX Certified Professional); TCERTIMP (Thomson Certified Implementer); Alteryx Analytics Designer Core and Alteryx Designer Advanced; ACA (Chartered Accountant) with Lean Six Sigma (White Belt acceptable); SIX SGMA (Six Sigma Certification) – excludes Lean Six Sigma and must be Green Belt or higher, White Belt is not acceptable. Any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials when their employment commences, has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials. Knowledge of a broad range of corporate tax matters, including tax reporting and compliance experience, and possess both tax and technology skills
Ability to manage multiple engagements and client service teams
Excellent research and writing skills
Well-established track record of business development
