Senior Manager, Sales Operations and Strategy

Mission: Responsible for driving the global sales annual operating plan and the annual strategic plan. Senior Manager, Sales Operations will support the development and implementation of the sales process for new and existing business across our business channels. This role defines and implements key sales tools. This role will be active participates in the development, reporting, and analysis of the Sales Organization metrics, goals, and forecasting. The Senior Manager, Sales Operations role offers exceptional professional development and opportunity and will be actively engaged in go-to-market strategies, client presentations, internal presentations, and reporting.1. Develop and Manage MGA Entertainment Sales Operations* Lead the sales planning process and setting of annual sales goals – work with VP, FP&A, Demand Planning, Marketing, and Sales Leads to create an aggressive, fact based plan with supporting documentation.* Drive the implementation of international sales strategy in distributor markets including opportunity sizing, evaluation of investment scenarios, pricing and terms analysis, and the on-going management or regular sales forecasts.* Design and Implement a Retailer P&L process with regular reviews for sales teams and executive management.* Continuously improve sales process effectiveness by eliminating, simplifying, and automating activities to support sales initiative analysis.* Work in conjunction with VP, FP&A, Marketing, and Sales leaders on special projects relating to retail initiatives.2. Support Sales Process* Conduct Background research on distributor prospects and assist in the development of presale business plans. Evaluate business plans received from prospective distributors.* Interface with domestic agents and international distributors as necessary. Create and prepare commission tracking and reporting for external sales agents.* Work with Sales Teams and Legal on deal shape and term sheets3. Pricing and Approving SRDAs* Analyze and strategically manage Retailer P&Ls such as budgeting, forecasting and analyzing actuals against plan (quarterly).* Scenario planning under different retail marketing scenarios.* Manage the SRDA approval process (monthly).Position Requirements* Successful candidates will have a minimum of 12 years of experience, 5 in salesOperations or Management within the CPG or Toy Industry.* Proven experience working in a matrix environment to support and influence othersincluding peers, managers and leaders.* Experience in new process design, development and process improvements.* Proven track record of complex project planning, management and delivery.* Experience and comfort working in an agile, emerging and fast paced environment.* College Degree required; MBA Preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:* Ability to take business strategy, translate that strategy into an overall selling process, measure the process for continuous improvement, and drive changes that will deliver expected results.* Successful track record of executing across a broad range of functions and cultures to implement processes and procedures that aligns with an overall corporate strategy.* Ability to design and measurement of business processes.* Ability to work with finance and comfort working with and presenting financial analysis,and reporting to finance leads and peers.* Generates discussion and debate across the organization on key strategic issues, generating ideas and creative frameworks, and uses a combination of facts, judgment, and personal impact to build credibility and influence outcomes.* Strong communication skills and ability to work across organization to support ideationand work to build consensus.* Strong critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills including business casemodeling, Excel modeling and integrated work planning.Authority:* Reports directly to the VP, FP&A
