Senior Manager, Patient Communications

We are seeking candidates for the Senior Manager, Patient Communications position.

Under the direction of the Senior Director, Communications, this position is critical in developing a comprehensive communications program with specific strategies and action plans to effectively influence the health and well-being of AltaMed patients.

Role is responsible for developing and implementing the full range of patient communication materials with a special emphasis on quality measures, marketing needs and organizational objectives.

Health care industry experience required.

Highly-collaborative team player who can work independently with minimal supervision yet manage and supervise direct reports.

Serves as the liaison between the Communications Department, internal and external customers. 

Skills and Abilities:

Strong written and oral communications skills.
2.

Strong analytical skills in order to trend and evaluate results as needed.
3.

Self-motivated and self-supervising, process-oriented with high attention to detail.
4.

Highly professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills with internal and external customers.
5.

High level of assertiveness, diplomacy and commitment to company excellence.
6.

Must be able to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
7.

Proficient with MS Office suite, outlook, HTML, and Photoshop.
8.

Manage Communication Specialists as assigned, by training and overseeing their duties and responsibilities.
9.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) demonstrated skills in both oral and written communications highly desirable.
10.

Experience working with and managing communications teams.
11.

Managerial skills to include: time management, team building, budgeting, marketing, analytical/trend analysis, and agency management.
12.

Ability to inspire, motivate and lead cross-functional teams; able to win support of peers, seniors and juniors for projects
13.

Health care industry experience 

14.

Highly-collaborative team player who can work independently with minimal supervision
15.

Ability to work in fast-paced team environment and ability to work under pressure on a variety of topics.
16.

Positive customer service skills
17.

Ability to navigate complex political situations in a professional, tactful and sensitive manner
