Senior Manager, Marketing

Our Los Angeles office is seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing to join our team.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator (written and verbal), strategic thinker, and proven leader with experience in growing teams.

This candidate will provide exemplary top-of-the funnel oversight of our marketing department.

ROLE: Provide a secondary layer to the VP of Marketing on high priority initiatives while also being intimately involved in ensuring day-to-day accountability, performance and creativity across the client roster. 

WHAT A DAY LOOKS LIKE: You should be ready to deal with unexpected challenges while also having a clear understanding of what needs to be prepared for.

Expect to be shifting quickly between a variety of clients, team members and categories of support that the team needs you dedicated to. 

HOW YOU WILL WIN IN THIS ROLE: You’re going to need to be 10 steps ahead of everyone else.

You’re going to need to be obsessed with planning and momentum in order to build runway room not only for yourself, but also for the VP and our broader teams.

Responsibilities: Internally
Set a high standard of excellence for the marketing team  Drive curiosity and encourage consistent industry education amongst team members  Provide personal and professional mentorship to managers  Provide situational guidance for all team members as related to client needs  Challenge both personal and professional growth among team members
Responsibilities: Externally
Provide final review of all pertinent deliverables Drive long term planning momentum Ensure undeniable value with clients and partners Project impenetrable confidence in all client communication  Confidently navigate challenging client situations and communication Provide insight for proactive management of anticipated client needs Actively identify growth opportunities for existing clients Determine cross pollination opportunities with other clients Build strong personal relationships with client leads
Requirements
4
– 8 years work experience in marketing or within an agency Poised to lead and grow teams Possesses keen creative intuition and the mindset of a proactive planner  Relationship builder with strong collaborative skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong analytic thinking skills  Significant opportunity for growth in the company Work alongside an incredible slate of clients and team members Fun, creative and collaborative company culture Remote work environment due to COVID-19 Unlimited Stumptown cold brew (when we’re back in office)
