THE ROLE: Senior Manager, Field Marketing
Presidio is seeking a Manager, Field Marketing to join our team. This is a REMOTE position combined with some travel within the United States. We are looking for an experienced agent of change to transform our model for field marketing, getting us to greater global consistency with visible marketing impact. You’ll come in at the ground floor, build the model and recruit/hire a small team of marketing professionals to align to our sales regions. This position can be based in any US location.
Prior experience & proven ability in influencing & strategizing with senior sales executive stakeholders is critical to this role, as you’ll live and operate at the crossroads where global marketing campaigns meet regional sales priorities, intersecting with strategic alliance requirements. Equally important is an ability to set targets and quickly test, learn and pivot to optimize effectiveness and maximize marketing impact on pipeline and revenue.
This position reports into the Director of Marketing Campaigns.
Responsibilities include:
- Drive execution of integrated marketing plans through regional field sales engagement, striking the right balance between global consistency and local requirements.
- Hire, inspire, and lead a small team of field marketing professionals, ensuring a balance between global program execution with regional sales priorities
- Be the face of Marketing to field sales leadership, and conversely communicate needs of the field Sales back to Marketing
- Work collaboratively with Campaign Managers to define demand generation priorities across the marketing mix: localizing digital marketing campaigns, planning and executing virtual and in-person event marketing, and improving brand awareness.
- Lead quarterly planning with sales leaders to influence and identify the right objectives, strategies and prioritization for marketing to each region, and to prioritize and feature relevant alliance partner solutions along with relevant Presidio services.
- Analyze programs for effectiveness in order to actively leverage insights with sales and alliance stakeholders to course correct and optimize results
- Drive collaboration within the field marketing team on lessons learned and best practices in order to continually challenge and improve the regional marketing model
- Demonstrate marketing impact on pipeline and revenue.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or relevant work and/or military experience
- 7+ years of marketing experience including management & field marketing experience
- Proven track record of being able to influence senior sales executive stakeholders.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Field marketing experience from a Systems Integrator, Cloud Provider and/or IT Services Business.
