We’re not solving a small problem, and we’re not addressing a small market. We’re going after returns-the part of online shopping that consumers say they hate most.

You will be part of the Customer Success team who is responsible for onboarding all of our new retailer partners, and ensuring they are supported moving forward after launch. No two retailers are the same, which is why having an Enterprise Onboarding Manager who can lead, adapt, and execute efficiently while setting the tone for the relationship is extremely important when onboarding a new partner.

This position works closely with our Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Product teams and is ultimately responsible for successful new customer launches.

Job Description:

Role

  • Own and Lead Onboarding: It is critical you bring thought leadership and a wealth of knowledge about onboarding and customer success to our team. We need you to work with our leadership from Product, Operations, Sales, Finance and other groups to build an onboarding machine at Happy Returns.
  • Timeline and Project Management: Show us how it’s done – plan, schedule, and manage project timelines as well as track internal/external deliverables from the time of project kick-off through UAT and launch.
  • Communicate with Internal and External Teams: Always be leading – clearly communicate with customers and internal teams regarding project objectives, timelines and technical/operational dependencies to ensure all stakeholders understand how and when to contribute to successful onboarding projects.

    Ensure that key customer inputs such as datasets, APIs, integration instructions are delivered on time to the Happy Returns Product, Engineering and Operations teams.

  • Customer Engagement: Be the positive and encouraging face of Happy Returns for our newest customers. Prepare and lead easy to understand presentations that communicate the onboarding process. Partner with customers to anticipate potential roadblocks, structure requirements, launch goals to create the highest likelihood of success throughout the onboarding cycle.
  • Common Tasks, Tools Required: Build and present project management plans using Asana/Jira, producing gantt charts and other visual aids to help internal and external stakeholders understand project dependencies and timelines. Modeling in Excel. Building and presenting from Powerpoint, Collaborating on shared docs in collaboration tools, Designing how-to support docs in Word. Tracking customer relationships in Salesforce.

Sound like you?

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management and/or implementation roles in technology companies
  • Proven success in a client facing Project Management role owning 2-3 large onboarding projects and 8-10 small projects simultaneously
  • Experience scoping and developing project plans with large teams of stakeholders and detailed requirements
  • Has a strong background rooted in eCommerce and/or retail project management
  • Experience working on projects surrounding API implementations and data workflow integrations
  • Ability to be assertive when necessary to mitigate any potential risk to the project timeline or outcome
  • Passion for the problem Happy Returns is solving and interested in learning the world of returns and reverse logistics
  • Obsessively empathetic towards our partners and their business needs
  • Experience using account and project management tools such as Asana, Jira and Salesforce
  • Experience communicating technical project details to internal development teams using Jira
  • Outstanding project management skills
  • The ability to operate in a rapidly-changing and fast-paced environment
  • An obsession for details and accuracy, while keeping the bigger picture in mind
  • An understanding of retail and the challenges returns pose for stakeholders
