The client company is one of the largest multi-channel Retailers in the United States.
The Senior Manager-Corporate Strategy & Analytics will serve as an internal Consultant for key business leaders in vetting strategic ideas by providing analytical, problem solving strategic frameworks. In addition, the Senior Manager will manage corporate-level initiatives across a wide range of areas; anticipate future business changes and challenges and proactively develop and implement new or revised plans; execute ad hoc projects and/or discrete analyses, and present findings and recommendations to senior management as requested; stay current on industry trends and best practices; have a role in staff supervision and development; and provide consultation and strategic advisory to business leaders.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5-7+ years of strategic work experience in the Retail Industry. Prior Management Consulting, Investment Banking and/or Retail experience is highly preferred. Other required skills/experience will include a strong understanding of strategic frameworks, problem-solving and analytical skills including advanced modeling; comfortable working with ambiguity; ability to effectively build relationships with internal partners, peers and leadership; must be able to perform under pressure, short deadlines and in high visibility settings; excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Preferred and/or desired skills will include the ability to be a self-starter and move projects forward with minimal direction; and an expert in assessing a situation, making a decision, and filtering ambiguity into actionable key next steps and decisions that need to be taken. An MBA or equivalent with a relevant level of professional experience is expected, as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree from a top tier university.
