You’ll Report To: Senior Director of Marketing
A typical day as a Senior Manager, Brand Marketing might include:
Brand Development (60%) Lead the brand positioning and go-to-market strategy for Leaf Group portfolio brands, such as Hunker, Society6, Only In Your State, etc.
by creating best-in-class materials that elevate our brands’ strengths in content, creativity and innovation Deliver consistent and unified brand identities across portfolio sites Develop compelling stories that speak to market differentiators and key attributes of our content and audience segments Revenue Generation (30%) Drive innovative and strategic thinking, going after the whitespace and challenging the status quo, for progressive solutions and executions Provide Sales with white glove service and ongoing communications tied to developments in performance, solutions, revenue priorities, insights, etc.
in consultation with cross-functional teams Consistently collaborate with brand leaders and editorial teams to ensure new content series, areas of reporting, brand products and activations are being quickly and directly communicated to Sales as forms of revenue drivers
You’ll be successful if you are a driven, creative story teller with an analytical mind and “can do” attitude.
What You Have:
5+ years of Brand Marketing experience Ability to create comprehensive brand narratives, in an organized and thoughtful way with an ability to translate insights into persuasive stories Understanding of cross-platform capabilities and audience behavior/receptivity Exceptional organizational and communication skills; ability to juggle many projects at once and still reach deadlines Strategic and creative thinker Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient at PowerPoint
