Overview: BOOST is helping one of our teaming partners hire a well-qualified Senior Management Consultant to serve as a critical member of their client-facing consulting team.
You should be able to effectively communicate to a variety of audiences, including senior-level management.
You will support the development of a new information security program within a federal agency through research, policy and report development, and stakeholder management.
You should be able to build subject matter expertise, establish strong client relationships, and act within the capacity of a trusted advisor.
This is a hybrid position requiring on-site availability 1-2 days a week at locations in either McLean, VA or Washington, DC.
Responsibilities: Conducts stakeholder interviews, outreach, and research to gather inputs for stakeholder resources, as well as keyword information for tool automationConducts assessments/gap analysis and develops reports and presentationsAnalyzes program requirements and makes strategic recommendationsLeads policy and procedure development, including reviews, updates and facilitating through agency concurrence processesFacilitates partnerships with other agency programs to ensure cross-agency alignment Qualifications: Educational/Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree5 years of experience in federal consulting with client-facing exposureAbility to conduct qualitative and quantitative research (e.g., policies, interviews) and develop analysis and recommendations based on findingsExperience evaluating and supporting the creation and/or re-engineering of business processes against set requirementsExperience developing reports, briefings, and decks and presenting to them to clients in a professional and influential wayExperience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and OutlookWork Authorization RequirementsU.S.
