Senior HR Manager

Summary of Role:
Our client, a renowned CPA firm is looking to hire a Senior HR Manager to their team.

This is a dynamic role that requires experience in Employee Relations, Coaching, Performance Management, Compliance, and HR Operations.

In this role, you will provide day to day support to our Partners and employees.

This is a ‘customer first, hands-on’ HR role that requires a trusted advisor to management and an employee advocate who knows how to make things happen.

This role also requires effective partnering across the HR function through teamwork and collaboration to deliver value-added support to management and employees.

Responsibilities Reporting to the Chief People Officer you will support the management of the HR team and HR centers of excellence including Talent Management, Learning & Development, and HR Operations to understand the business and develop operational HR programs that will strengthen culture, improve performance, and enhance engagement within the firm.

Serve as a partner and advisor to management on key organizational and management issues, and as an employee champion.

Coach business leaders on execution of performance management and talent management processes to promote a culture of high performance, continuous growth, and development.

Work closely with management and employees to improve communication, build and maintain morale, and increase productivity and retention.

Analyze turnover and exit interview data to proactively identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement.

Manage the resolution of complex employee relations issues, assisting in the investigation of employee complaints.

Counsel and advice management regarding appropriate disciplinary actions to create consistency and ensure minimal legal risk.

Maintain knowledge of human resource industry trends and new employment-related legislation and communicate policies, procedures, and program revisions as necessary to assigned client groups.

Qualifications 8-10 years as an HR Generalist including Employee Relations, Performance Management, and Compliance.

Strong process excellence and project management skills.

Ability to develop creative solutions and drive effective organizational change.

Broker relationship management and Benefits Administration a plus.

Accustomed to multitasking and meeting tight deadlines.

Highly organized and detail-oriented, you can define priorities and follow through.

Good negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders, and excellent verbal/written communication skills are a must-have.

Experience with company-wide program implementation.

Comfortable with performance management, performance plans, and documentation.
