You will own project workstreams and interact with the client daily to ensure engagement success.

This includes supporting day-to-day operational meetings with client sponsors and consulting leaders.

Senior Consultants are expected to prepare and communicate well-organized, effective reports and presentations to client and internal executives.

You will lead, coach and mentor consultants and ensure quality deliverables.Responsibilities include:+ Supporting workstreams that enable the assessment, development, and enhancement of business strategies, operating plans, business processes, organizational structures, and supporting infrastructure for clients.+ Applying cybersecurity & risk management framework knowledge to support the design of client deliverables.+ Applying technical competencies “on the ground” with clients.+ Communicating solutions and new strategies to clients through reports and presentations.+ Performing data collection, intelligence analysis, statistical & risk analyses in support of project objectives.+ Providing detailed fact finding, research, and analysis to further support delivery.We encourage career development and hiring for the long term.

As you hone your project management skills, leadership abilities and the aptitude for managing multiple workstreams, you will have the opportunity to progress to the Managing Consultant level.Qualifications+ Bachelor’s degree awarded in an engineering, science, business and/or IT security discipline+ 3+ years working experience in Information/Security roles excluding internships, Co-Ops, fellowship and research+ Demonstrated knowledge of Information/Security Compliance and/or Cyber Security in the utilities industry+ Project coordination or project management support experience+ Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills+ Verbal and written communication skills+ Strong interpersonal skills, with a high degree of self-confidence and determination+ Ability to travel+ Currently reside in the domestic United States+ Due to contract requirements, US Citizenship restrictions applyPreferred QualificationIn addition to the above listed requirements:+ Master’s degree awarded in engineering, science, business and/or security discipline+ Experience working with NERC security compliance within the Bulk Electric System (BES)+ Cyber security experience+ Management Consulting experience+ Demonstrated understanding in the following areas: Bulk Electric System (BES) and power systems, Electrical Reliability, NERC/FERC Enforcement, Critical Infrastructure Protection Standards (CIP), CIP related Cyber SecurityAdditional RequirementsThe successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.DisclaimerAbout GuidehouseGuidehouse is an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
