Senior Business Development Manager – Staffing Sales

Knowledge Services is hiring a Senior Business Development Manager for its Staffing team.

This role is responsible for building and maintaining staffing client relationships in addition to all steps associated with our sales process.

Responsibilities Responsible for increasing sales and Knowledge Services market share in a combination of existing and new accounts Generates business opportunities by identifying and meeting with prospects to qualify their willingness and ability to buy services Sells services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; identifying needs and recommending solutions Identify the appropriate hiring managers in existing accounts and secure / fill job orders within assigned accounts Build strong, trusted client and partner relationships via meetings, meals, and entertainment Seek referrals from all client contacts, hiring managers, and partners Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing industry media, establishing personal networks and participating in networking organizations Research accounts and hiring managers as a means of being prepared for meetings and calls Leverage CRM tool to manage and report all activities with client (calls, meetings, notes, scheduled tasks, etc.) Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards Provide the utmost professionalism and service to our clients and our candidates Work with recruiting team in providing job requisition details for client orders and vetting of candidates prior to submittal to client Negotiate rates with clients Build relationships with current deployed Knowledge Services contractors Gather feedback from clients on Knowledge Services contractor performance and coach contractor accordingly Work in a team environment Qualifications Must have a desire to build a career in Sales or Sales Management 5-10 years of successful experience working in staff augmentation or other service-oriented, IT product sales, or recruiting Proven background in IT and Admin/Clerical staffing industry is highly preferred Experience in both government and private sector industries is highly preferred Background in other staffing labor areas is preferred (i.e.

Medical, Engineering, other) Experience working with partners in the pursuit of staffing opportunities is preferred Excellent written and oral communication skills A sense of urgency, excellent presentation skills and a high standard of professionalism and character are musts A desire to learn and teach is needed Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or related field preferred
