Spin Master is seeking a Senior Brand Manager to join their LA based Preschool Global Business Unit.

As a member of the Preschool Brand Team, you will be responsible for developing brand strategy, category plans and marketing plans for a new licensed property from one of the largest entertainment companies in the world!

This hands-on, high-responsibility role will require a top tier marketer with a passion for launching brands, developing great toys and driving best in class licensor partnerships.

How will you create impact?

* Responsible for launching and driving profitable growth of a new preschool licensed property by developing go-to market brand and retail strategy that optimizes brand performance * Lead planning and execution of all brand activities (but not limited to): product development, advertising, packaging, branding, public relations, trade shows, market research, Licensor meetings.

* Drive brand financial strategy and plan, including forecasting, inventory management and pricing to deliver profitability goals * Partner with the US Sales Organization to drive brands at retail, including leading sales meeting presentations to customers and developing retailer-specific programs and activations * Guide cross-functional partners (design, content, engineering, packaging) throughout the product development process in coordination with respective cross-divisional leads * Act as key liaison to the Licensor to optimize initiatives within the brand portfolio * Manage, coach and develop direct report(s) How will you fit into the team?

* Proven ability to transform strategy and vision into actionable plans in a fast pace environment * Ability to use data to make informed decisions quickly to keep performance on track * Must be comfortable and confident presenting to both a large audience and senior management * Strong project management capabilities; capable of prioritizing and handing multiple projects under tight deadlines * Working knowledge of a variety of marketing tactics from TV, print, digital, social and consumer promotions * Experience managing, coaching and developing direct report(s) * Experience managing Licensors a plus * Domestic and International travel required at times.

What are your skills and experience?

* Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Marketing or related field.

MBA preferred * Minimum 5-7 years of consumer product brand management experience, preferably working with toy, entertainment, consumer products What’s it like to work here?
