Now, about the opportunity: the Senior Art Director will join our creative team.

The right candidate has a background in concepting big ideas with other creatives, knows how to design for both digital and print, has experience presenting work to clients, has acute attention to detail, and is passionate about innovative design. 

The ideal candidate is a go-getter who jumps on new opportunities, designs with pixel-perfect precision, and is a team player.

This is a fast-paced work environment, so attentiveness and the ability to handle multiple projects with ease are a must.

You’re able to stay humble while showing off your creative thinking, and will help us maintain an environment that encourages expression, inclusivity, and collaboration. 

When it’s safe to return to the office, you will be affiliated with and reporting into our headquarters in San Francisco.

In the meantime, you’ll work from home. 

In this role you will:

  • Partner with copywriters and collaborate with other designers, developers, and creative leads to produce high-quality integrated visual designs across multiple digital platforms – from concept to execution 
  • Communicate effectively in a cross-functional team and persuasively present concepts and projects, both internally and to clients 
  • Work independently, providing innovative solutions to creative problems while focusing on detail, quality, and timeliness
  • Be confident presenting ideas and designs to clients
  • Digest feedback and develop alternate creative solutions
  • Maintain consistent creative quality while applying client brand guidelines
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and consistently turn around top-notch creative work
  • Be a standard-bearer for our culture and values

Experience you already have:

  • An online portfolio showing both concept and design-driven digital work
  • 5+ years experience working at an agency or in-house creative services team 
  • Mastery of digital design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma) for diverse formats (web, social, video, email, etc.)
  • Expert understanding of typography, illustration, and layout; making things look beautiful is second-nature.
  • Solid understanding UX principles and their applications across the web, email and beyond
  • Rigorous attention to detail
  • Ability to develop strategically-sound concepts and create activations that are both achievable and attention-worthy
  • Ability to work through multiple iterations and to work quickly
  • Can work independently, but also be an excellent collaborator with the team
  • Ability to work within brand style guides to produce work that is both original and on brand
  • Ability to direct and/or give guidance to junior/mid-level art directors.
  • Experience collaborating across Google Apps (ie.

    Slides, Docs, Sheets, Gmail)

  • Experience storyboarding video and working with a motion graphics team
  • Humble attitude—No egos here!
