SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Description
The primary function of this position is to provide the highest quality service to clients. The Senior Account Manager (SAM) will be the day-to-day liaison between the insurance company (MIB) and designated accounts managed by Account Executives/Sr. Account Executives/Producers.
Daily servicing of customers will include addressing various coverage issues, contract analysis, exposure analysis, issuing auto ID cards, handling all the inside service work associated with the client’s accounts, including all endorsement activity, routine coverage questions, problem solving, renewal control, preparation of formal proposals, checking and binding policies.
The SAM should have experience in all areas of entertainment insurance. The Sam is responsible for the successful fulfillment of Film & TV Standard Operating Guidelines (SOG’s).

Position Requirements
• Provide consistent, accurate, timely and pertinent communication to carriers through via emails, phone contact and meetings.
• Day-to-day assistance with senior team members.
• Submit applications to market for new and renewal business, consisting of DICE and E&O.
• Small DICE- review and qualify for in-house quoting (ProSight & Fireman’s Fund) per carrier checklist.
• Create and update proposal and summaries of insurance for new and renewal business.
• Track E&O submissions and follow-up for quotes.
• Process and follow-up for endorsements for receipt within 45 to 60 days max.
• Use of Abacus to quote, bind and issue certificates/ endorsements for short term productions, events and equipment floaters.
• Know and remain up-to-date on the utilization of carrier websites, carrier communications, new coverage options and billing procedures.
• Review, check, process and follow-up policies based on SOG checklists to include proposals, applications, letters, invoicing, summaries of insurance, certificates, evidence of insurance, binders, etc.
• Invoice, handle premium collections and accounting discrepancies in a timely manner
• Contact carrier for back-up on large audits to confirm accuracy (i.e. final budget & payroll schedules).
• Follow-up with carrier on cast approvals.
• Submit cast medicals to carrier.
• Review audits and send to clients.
• Follow-up with carrier for removal of coverage subjectivities and exclusion as applicable (i.e. hazardous activities, stunts, risk assessments, etc.).
• Maintain agency EPIC files accurately and consistently, document conversations in emails and other notes sent to clients, while adhering to all MIB electronic and EPIC procedures.
• Participate in classes put on by the Agency to learn all facets of insurance.
• Finance agreement preparation and follow-up.
• Manage all department AR’s.
Physical Actions
• Required job duties are essentially sedentary work consisting of occasional walking, standing and lifting and/or carrying 10 lbs. maximum
Education Requirements
• High School Diploma, college degree preferred
• Current California Property & Casualty License, other states a plus.
Experience Requirements
• 4 to 5 years experience in Film & Television insurance coverage options.
• Agency or Brokerage experience.
• Mastery of entertainment insurance underwriting, coverage and rate analysis.
• Experience utilizing commercial carrier websites to market and rate new and/or renewal business (Fireman’s Fund, Travelers, One Beacon & Abacus).
• Must have experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Agency Management System (i.e., EPIC, AMS 360) or other paperless computer system.
