Senior A & D Marketing Manager

Job Summary Benjamin Moore & Co is currently looking for an experienced, talented, and self-motivated professional to join our Marketing team.

You will be the individual to serve as Benjamin Moore’s corporate connection to architect and interior design community, building new while nurturing existing relationships across this professional segment in all N.A.

markets.

You will be responsible for developing strategic programs that specifically target the A&D community, expanding their loyalty to the brand through their consistent specification of Benjamin Moore’s premium products.

This role will also work collaboratively with the A & D sales team as well as the overall marketing organization to identify and execute against the segment needs.

Key Responsibilities: Develop, deliver and manage the A&D Customer Engagement strategy Continually assess the A&D business landscapes to effectively engage the segment and advise internal stakeholders on critical business trends; identify any gaps in how BM responds to the needs of this segment Represent the organization with strategic A & D organizations and at high profile events Drive new and measurable A&D business through selling tool creation, program development and field collaboration Pro-actively and collaboratively work actively with the internal organization, and specifically across the marketing department, to ensure that the needs of the A&D Customers are effectively represented Maintain an ongoing and collaborative dialogue with the Product and Channel Marketing departments to advocate for the business needs of the A&D Customers Liaise with the Customer Programs Marketing Managers to advise on the continued implementation and direction of existing programs Ensure the A&D Customers targeted corporate messaging, communications, product portfolio and channel experience are accurate and applicable Strive to improve the sample and specification to product usage ratio Required Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field Minimum 10 years of experience working in the Architecture and/or Design or related Industry Experience with or knowledge of working in an architect or interior design office Thorough understanding of specification and finish schedule writing Thorough understanding of, and keen interest in all aspects of interior design and architecture Excellent communication, listening and public speaking skills Projects an outgoing energetic and engaging persona, serving as BM’s point person to this segment Strong verbal and writing skills particularly on the topics of design and architecture Ability to assess long term opportunities for success Excellent strategic skills Overall knowledge of Market geography and dynamics Interest in and ability to cultivate, nurture and leverage relationships with key industry leaders Possesses a connection to the overall design industry, knowledge of the various A & D industry trade associations Understanding of Benjamin Moore’s company strategy and messaging Ability to travel a minimum of 25% of the time Company Profile Benjamin Moore is proud to be a part of Berkshire Hathaway, which was recognized by Fortune magazine as the world’s fourth most admired company.
