Beacon Resources seeks a highly motivated SEC Reporting Manager to join an innovative energy-oriented company with advanced hardware.
Job
– The hired SEC Reporting Manager will be responsible for all aspects of SEC reporting and developing internal and external reporting processes.
The manager will provide technical accounting research and documentation for complex transactions and manage the implementation of new accounting standards.
You will report to the Director of SEC Reporting.

Compensation/Benefits
– Salary range starts at $110,000/year and increases depending on qualifications.

SEC REPORTING MANAGER DUTIES
SEC Reporting
Prepare all reports (Quarterly, Annual) as per SEC requirements (8-K, 10-Q, 10-K, and Annual Report) Prepare all registrations Prepare quarterly earnings release Maintain all necessary deadlines in accordance with the SEC Maintain consistent contact with external auditors to ensure compliance with SEC standards Draft financial reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements Other ad hoc duties as needed
Technical Accounting
Draft technical accounting memos Keep abreast of latest changes to the accounting standards
SEC REPORTING MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration with an Accounting focus Big 4 or Tier 2 Accounting Firm Pedigree OR SEC Reporting Public Company work experience Superb knowledge of US GAAP and SEC rules and regulations
Preferred
CPA
SECK REPORTING MANAGER SKILLS
Required
Detail oriented, with high level of ethics and integrity Expert-Level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, IF Formulas)
