We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Sales Specialist to consistently grow wholesale sales across all Murchison-Hume brand stable in both foreign and domestic markets. The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized individual who has a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers. This may be a remote or WFH/hybrid position, with flexible hours and a generous commission package for the right candidate!
Main Job Focus:
- Maintain + grow existing wholesale accounts and seek out and establish new ones. Find more Overseas Distribution Partners.
- Groom existing accounts and keep them engaged and interested in all things Murchison-Hume/Heales.
- Investigate and employ new distribution channels across the brand stable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of CPG sales experience (preference for personal care/skincare)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Shopify fluent
- Can work independently, juggling several projects simultaneously without dropping any of them!
- A people person. You need to like people (and make them like you).
- Manage all communication with existing Retail Partners. Send out a bi-monthly email to our retail partners for all brands to remind them how awesome we are, introduce new product offerings, and offer promotions.
- Trace sales and promo performance, make recommendations and execute new strategies.
- Track and Manage all existing Resellers on outside channels like Faire, Buzz, Shoppable, Bulletin, Handshake, Amazon, etc.
- Track Daily/Weekly and Monthly sales. Help us determine which SKUs are performing (and which aren’t. Make quarterly reports with recommendations on product exclusions or additions based on sales feedback.
- Establish and Manage a weekly schedule for all Sales activities: (e.g. Heales Sales outreach, Interior Designer outreach, Gift Buyer + Beauty Buyer Search on Rocket Reach, Commercial business outreach, Overseas Distribution search, etc.)
- Keep detailed spreadsheets of active, dormant, existing, and potential accounts. Submit them monthly with your commission statement.
- Work with Graphic Designer/Digital Marketing Manager to create enticing wholesale promotions to encourage sales every other week.
- Maintain relationships with current international distributors and seek out new ones in countries across the globe.
- Accept and process international orders
- Work with our 3PLs both here and in Australia to arrange international shipments
- Manage e-commerce logistics for retail orders including pushing and adjusting orders from backorder
IMMEDIATE TARGET GOALS:
Launch our Commerical/Hospitality Program in the United States.
Find a suitable Distributor in Canada for both Heales + Murchison-Hume.
Find a suitable Distributor in Hong Kong/China for both Heales + Murchison-Hume by the end of the year.
