As the inside and outside sales manager, you will report directly to the company president.
You will develop staff to achieve success in the sale of selected product lines to selected customers.
You will be responsible for learning and teaching company protocols, procedures, documentation (sales, purchasing, and work orders), and project management.
This position requires a highly motivated individual with a diverse skill-set and a desire to take on a demanding and challenging role.
This position is 80-90% inside and 10-20% in the field.
Bonuses are based on performance against objectives.
This position includes car and phone allowances for field-based work.
This is not a “remote” position; it requires that you work from our offices in Commerce, California.nn nn n nn nn Responsibilities nn Build an effective inside and outside sales team Provide the inside and outside sales staff with leadership and direction Ensure that the sales staff is adhering to the highest standards of customer satisfaction Oversee the day to day administrative tasks of the sales staff Train and acclimate new sales staff in company policies and procedures Meet or exceed performance goals nn n nn nn Base Qualifications nn Sales and management experience Experience with electrical power equipment (low and medium voltage) A proven record of sales success Proven record of customer service excellence Good understanding of the MS Office Suite Experience using and understanding of ERP and CRM software nn n nn nn Preferred Qualifications nn Sales management experience in the industrial electrical space selling low and medium voltage power distribution and control products Experience selling to electrical distributors, electrical contractors, and electrical field service/service shop businesses BA/BS degree or higher in business or business management Good understanding of power distribution Excellent understanding of medium and low voltage electrical equipment Very knowledge in motor control, transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, and their associated components Prior experience with Syspro ERP software Located in Southern California nn n nn nn About ROMAC Electrical Power Equipment nn nnROMAC Electrical Power Equipment is the parent company of Power Controls Inc (PCI), Hardware Resource Company (HRC), and ROMAC Supply.
