Our client saw a recurring need for content to meet the growing industry demand. The solution they built scales human imagination with machine creation. The platform takes repetitive tasks and completes them with a click, from imagery enhancement to mesh creation and cleanup, all in one tool. The founders’ 20+ years in entertainment and media includes social mobile, video games, movies, and XR. They want their technology to be the gold standard for digitizing imagery. Their five-year vision is to expand their reach beyond entertainment and apply the technology to established and emerging markets such as medical, architecture, geospatial, immersive media (XR), and telemedicine industries.
They are currently seeking a Sales Director to join their team. This position can be based remotely anywhere in the US.
As the Sales Director, your daily duties will consist of:
- Developing and running the entire new business sales cycle
- Managing all aspects of the sales cycle from initial qualification through executed contract
- Researching prospective customers, and identifying/contacting prospects
- Developing various outreach strategies
- Conducting online product demonstrations
- Building relationships with prospects to grow new business
- Forecasting new sales opportunities
- Closing new business consistently at or above quota level
As the Sales Director, your background should include:
- BA or BS degree (MBA a plus)
- 5+ years of individual quota carrying/closing sales experience in the entertainment or hi-tech space
- Demonstrated experience in consistently exceeding sales goals
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Demonstrated closing abilities
Compensation: On the front-end, while more funding is being raised, they would like to offer one of two scenarios when it comes to pay.
#1 – Commission only with equity
#2 – Small salary (TBD) with commission and equity
