*Sales and Business Development Manager *

*Location:*
The role is remote/home office within the greater LA or Orange County Area.

*Reporting line:*
The role reports into the overall West Coast Sales Manager.

*Scope:*
The territory is West Coast, predominantly California. The workweek covers 40 hours over 5 business days, however in line with this position, occasional longer work times can occur.
Travel is required and estimated in the range between 40-70% of time.

*General requirements and responsibilities:*
The role will focus on creating new, leads and managing existing growing accounts.

– Develop and maintain a business opportunity pipeline which over time generates additional revenue.

– Contributes to building a positive team spirit.
– Make recommendations to the company for better results, which should include better methods, systems and procedures.
– Lead his Sales team by developing, coaching and motivating to drive results and ensure customer satisfaction with new and existing customers.
– Ownership of Customer accounts, be a role model to the team.
– Grow and develop the current portfolio of business throughout the defined territory, existing and new markets.
– Prospect new business within new markets, work with the R&D and Operations

Team to assess feasibility & convert to product portfolio.
– Contributes to the market and sales strategy.
– Pipeline management & reporting
– Completion of required sales administration processes

– Professional management of the full sales cycle and positive representation of the company in the marketplace at all times, directly with customers, potential customers and at relevant trade shows, exhibitions and other networking events.

– Achieve overall sales budget, including price and margin management and price increases.

– Liaison with internal customer services contact in regard to customer requirements, sales support and fulfillment of account requirements. Communication and alignment on all elements of account development.

– Maximizing new business development opportunities.

*Personal requirements and attributes: *

– 5+ years experience Selling Packaging into the Food, Industrial, Medical, Consumer and Household markets

– Good technical understanding of flexible packaging materials
– Business Development experience; working with new products and Customers.
– Team player, self-starter, highly motivated to drive the sales growth of the company.
– Analytical and strategic skills, being able to provide value creating solutions.
– Interpersonal skills, being able to create successful customer relationships.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
