Job Description
Royal Service & Reservations Manager
The ideal candidate to lead and elevate the Royal Service & Reservations team at Fairmont Century Plaza is organized, thoughtful, engaging and an anticipatory leader. You are a master multi-tasker, by simultaneously leading the phone operation, incoming emails, centralized hotel communication portal, group reservations and all other internal and external requests.
What you will be doing:
* Lead the day-to-day operations of the hotel reservations and PBX department, including group reservations
* Setting goals and KPI’s for the team to meet on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
* Establish and oversee team incentive plans and booking strategies, working closely with the Director of Revenue
* Working cross-functionally with operational departments and the sales team
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
* 2-4 years in reservations, PBX or related area
* Previous department head/leadership experience in a related role
* Extensive knowledge of hotel reservations systems
* Forbes 5-star and LQA experience is an asset
* Highly organized, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure
